Amazon Grocery Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
You will join the Amazon grocery team that supports one of Amazon’s busiest services: online grocery orders. Operating in a warehouse the size of a grocery store, you will prepare orders and work in various environments, including refrigerated and freezer spaces.
Responsibilities
- Prepare grocery orders for delivery.
- Use technology such as computers, smartphones, apps, and barcode scanners.
- Intake new inventory and put it away.
- Check order quality.
- Rotate tasks throughout the week.
- Lift up to 49 pounds.
- Work in temperatures as low as -10°F and up to 90°F for extended periods.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout shifts.
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items.
- Go up and down stairs where applicable.
- Handle a variety of products—including pork, other meats, and alcohol.
Work Environment
- Safety: Protective gear and daily safety tips are provided.
- Surroundings: Work around moving machines, order pickers, stand‑up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.
- Activity: Standing, walking, and climbing stairs may be required.
- Temperature: Use of freezer spaces as low as -10°F and refrigerated spaces; short breaks every 30 minutes in freezer areas.
- Noise: Noise levels can be high; hearing protection is available.
- Dress Code: Comfortable closed‑toe shoes required; protective safety footwear may be required in select units.
