Store Management:
Concentrates approximately 20% of time managing high-value relationships.
Implements sales and promotional programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and exceed quality standards.
Facilitates integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending, cash management, and investment management, by referring customers to appropriate departments.
Responsible for the growth activity of the store (consumer, small business, or both depending on market opportunity); expectation of daily/weekly growth activities.
Team Leadership:
Manages selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, and termination of store associates.
Coaches and mentors all associates in learning the skills required for their role, including technical expertise of consumer and small business lending.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.
Operational & Regulatory Compliance:
Ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations applicable to the position and keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Maintains working knowledge of policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
4–7 years of supervisory/management experience in retail banking.
Active membership in several community organizations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, other banking computer systems, and office equipment.
Effective training and mentoring skills.
Demonstrated sales and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of retail services and products. Consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
Complies with all Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination, including the SAFE Act.
