Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in banking, finance, business, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in retail banking operations, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, banking software, and office equipment.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills.
  • Experience with process improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance management.
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services; prior experience with consumer and small business loans is advantageous.

Branch Operations Management:

  • Monitor and ensure the branch meets operational standards, including cash management, transaction processing, and client service delivery.
  • Implement and oversee processes that promote operational efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and services to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance branch performance and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage branch staff performance through coaching, mentoring, and regular evaluations.
  • Support hiring, training, and staff development initiatives to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to staff on operational procedures and compliance requirements.

Operational & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all branch operations adhere to company policies, banking regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain awareness of federal, state, and local regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and security standards.
  • Monitor compliance and risk management practices to safeguard branch assets and client information.
