What You Will Do

• Sweep, vacuum, and wet-mop all floor surfaces using commercial-grade equipment across assigned areas of the facility
• Clean and disinfect restrooms to commercial standard — all fixtures, floors, mirrors, and dispensers restocked and sanitized
• Dust and wipe down all horizontal surfaces including desks, counters, conference tables, and break room equipment
• Clean interior windows, glass partitions, and lobby glass using streak-free technique
• Empty and reline all trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility, taking waste to the designated collection point
• Apply floor finish stripper, apply new floor finish, and operate a buffer or auto-scrubber on hard floor areas on scheduled maintenance nights
• Restock janitorial cart with correct chemical concentrations, clean microfiber cloths, and fresh liners before each shift begins
• Complete the facility cleaning log and inspection checklist at the end of each shift and report any issues to the site supervisor

What You Need

• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment including upright vacuums, backpack vacuums, and wet/dry mops
• Understanding of basic chemical safety — OSHA GHS labels, dilution ratios, and PPE requirements for cleaning chemicals
• Physical stamina for active cleaning work including pushing heavy carts, mopping large floor areas, and sustained standing
• Reliable attendance — commercial cleaning clients expect consistency at every scheduled visit
• Evening or overnight availability for many commercial cleaning positions — most facilities are cleaned after business hours
• Must be 18 or older — background check required for access to commercial properties

Nice to Have

• Prior commercial janitorial, custodial, or facility services experience
• OSHA 10 general industry certification
• Floor care equipment experience including auto-scrubbers and ride-on floor buffers
