The Correspondence Strategist is responsible for developing and executing internal communications and teammate readiness project plans that align with Mortgage Lending strategic priorities. This role involves collaborating with Mortgage leaders and enterprise partners to create and disseminate materials that prepare various teams to effectively serve clients in a dynamic and regulated environment. The strategist will also support the Mortgage Communications Framework and mentor Certified Authors.
Responsibilities
Partner with Mortgage leaders and bank partners to develop, implement and monitor teammate communications/readiness plans in support of overall mortgage initiatives/priorities.
Deploy teammate readiness through various communications channels to facilitate change management and enable sales and operations teammates to meet production goals and comply with regulations.
Support the Mortgage Communications Framework, coaching and mentoring the Certified Author and Governing Manager network.
Lead complex departmental assignments and manage workload effectively.
Research and write communications materials for mortgage executive management and other leaders.
Manage town halls and teammate events, utilizing multiple technology platforms.
Collaborate with digital resources to provide content for digital platforms.
Support and provide daily guidance to new/junior mortgage communications team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent education or related training.
Three or more years of financial or mortgage industry experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in writing/storytelling for multiple communications channels.
Advanced skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.
Proven skills in project management and negotiation.
Experience leading project teams.
Proven skills in building effective working relationships with business partners.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Workfront, and SharePoint.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in Corporate Communications, Employee Readiness, or Marketing Communications.
Experience in graphic design and the Adobe product suite.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
