Job Summary:

Udemy, a global leader in online learning, is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented E-Learning Course Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing engaging online courses that deliver high-quality learning experiences to students worldwide. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of instructional design principles, multimedia tools, and learning technologies, combined with a passion for creating impactful educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement engaging online courses across various subjects.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to structure content effectively.
• Create interactive learning experiences, including quizzes, assessments, and multimedia elements.
• Ensure courses are accessible, learner-friendly, and aligned with best instructional design practices.
• Review and update course content regularly to maintain relevance and quality.
• Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) for content development.
• Monitor course performance and gather feedback to continuously improve learning materials.
• Stay updated with trends and innovations in e-learning, instructional design, and educational technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia, or related field.
• Proven experience in e-learning course design and development.
• Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.).
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Captivate Prime, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging learning experiences.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in instructional design, course development, or e-learning content creation.
• Experience designing courses for a global audience is a plus.
• Portfolio of successfully developed online courses is highly desirable.
