Join United New Materials Technology Sdn Bhd as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer based in Semenyih, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the performance of critical manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient and reliable production operations.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise the lifespan and uptime of production equipment
Conducting regular inspections, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and control systems
Analysing equipment performance data and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Collaborating with the production team to coordinate equipment downtime and minimise disruptions
Documenting maintenance activities and preparing detailed reports
Providing technical guidance and training to the maintenance team
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, control systems and maintenance best practices
Proficient in fault diagnosis, root cause analysis and problem-solving
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
