This role is responsible for leading regional security for The Americas and driving the delivery of Commercial Real Estate (facilities) and infrastructure projects. The position focuses on hands-on project execution while holding full ownership of regional security, risk management, and crisis response.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of facility and infrastructure projects, including builds, redesigns, consolidations, and relocations.
Define and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and execution.
Manage contractors, architects, and external vendors.
Lead bid processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
Own regional security strategy and implementation in the region The Americas.
Lead risk assessments across sites, personnel, supply chain, and external environment.
Contribute to travel security, including risk and notification platforms, advisory and assistance, journey management and evacuations/repatriations.
Advise on physical security including access control for sites/assets, persons and operations.
Act as escalation point for security incidents and crisis situations.
Support emergency response and business continuity processes.
Ensure consistent security standards across all locations.
Protection of persons for threat management, including close/executive protection.
Support and advise stakeholders in event security.
Provide clear and regular reporting on project status (cost, timeline, risks) and security risks, incidents, and mitigation actions.
Maintain audit-ready documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
Partner with internal functions including Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and Finance.
Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and security providers.
Coordinate with local authorities as required.
Drive alignment and decision-making across functions and locations.
Improve project delivery processes and controls.
Standardize tools, templates, and reporting.
Drive cost discipline and efficiency across projects and security spend.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
7 years of work experience in project management, security, and/or facilities management or related field.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Ability to combine hands-on project delivery with security leadership and decision-making.
Strong execution and delivery focus.
