A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER As a Housekeeper at River Oaks of Minnesota, you are on the front line of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Your responsibilities include: Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and assigned facility spaces to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Follow established sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures in accordance with facility standards. Restock housekeeping carts and maintain proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with linen changes, trash removal, and floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming) as assigned. Support a positive resident experience by responding courteously to requests and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure facility cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met. You'll go home each day feeling fulfilled and proud of the positive impact you've made in the lives of vulnerable people in your community. Qualifications
