About the Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Inventory Lead to support manufacturing and warehouse operations in the Santa Clara / South Bay area. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-driven inventory professional with strong ERP experience who can lead day-to-day material control activities while partnering with supply chain, production, and shipping teams. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, material traceability, and audit readiness in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Receive, verify, and transact raw materials in ERP systems, including lot/batch assignment
- Perform incoming inspections (visual, dimensional, and certification review) and manage nonconforming material
- Maintain full material and lot traceability from supplier receipt through finished goods
- Manage inventory storage, bin locations, labeling, FIFO, and material movement accuracy
- Package and document materials for internal use and external processing
- Lead cycle counting activities, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse, and shipping teams to resolve shortages and variances
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives including 5S
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain operations
- Hands-on experience cutting, measuring, kitting, and staging materials for manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, shipping, and receiving
- ERP or WMS experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar systems)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
