The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecolog ical Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Fra nce s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements:
European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
Assist Manufacturing Engineers in creating, updating, and optimizing assembly work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Participate in shop floor analysis to identify and resolve technical/quality issues encountered during assembly.
Track and report on key production metrics (e.g., cycle time, non-conformity rates) and help streamline material flow.
Support coordination with the Supply Chain team to ensure Just-In-Time delivery of parts and monitor material shortages.
Work on establishing digital means and SQCDP tools as per business needs.
This role will involve travel for business in India and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
A first experience in Manufacturing, Operations or Engineering (apprenticeships and internships included).
Basic understanding of helicopter structures, Lean Manufacturing principles, and technical drawing/3D model interpretation.
MS Office Suite, familiarity with Manufacturing/Design software.
In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

Strong team spirit and global networking capabilities.
Analytical mindset and commitment to integrity.
Language Skills: advanced/negotiation level of English .
