We’re hiring an Online Art Teacher & Student Experience Lead—someone who sees teaching as the heart of the work and technology as the tool that supports it.
This role is ideal for an art educator who loves giving thoughtful feedback, guiding students, and shaping learning paths—while also helping keep the platform running smoothly behind the scenes.
The Heart of This Role: Teaching
You will:
Review student artwork submissions daily and approve or deny them with care
Provide kind, clear, and actionable art feedback that helps students improve
Support students by creating custom learning paths based on their interests and skill level
Help students feel seen, encouraged, and supported in their creative journey
If you don’t love teaching and mentoring young artists, this role is not a fit—and that’s intentional.
What You’ll Do:
Student artwork review & moderation (Written art feedback on student submissions)
Custom learning paths for students (Personalized course plans built from our library)
Welcome calls with new students/families
Homepage updates / redirects (WordPress)
Upload new courses to the library
Writing and publishing blog posts (AI-assisted)
This role is built for someone who:
Identifies as an art teacher, art mentor, or art educator
Enjoys giving feedback that is encouraging and instructional
Understands how to guide beginners without overwhelming them
Is patient, thoughtful, and student-centered
Is comfortable using WordPress for basic updates and content
Communicates warmly with parents and students
Can manage their time and follow clear processes
Strongly Preferred Background
Experience teaching art to kids or teens (online or in-person)
Art education, illustration, fine art, design, or creative practice
Familiarity with critique, skill-building, and creative encouragement
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
