Job Summary
SysTechCare Support is seeking detail-oriented and dedicated healthcare revenue cycle professionals to join our remote team. As a Remote Medical Biller or Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, processing medical claims, and ensuring accurate reimbursement from insurance providers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance while providing exceptional support to healthcare providers and patients. Key Responsibilities
Accurately review, prepare, and submit medical claims to insurance carriers.
Manage patient billing and accounts, including statements, payments, and follow-ups.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details for patients.
Identify and resolve claim denials, rejections, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Generate financial and performance reports related to claims processing and accounts receivable.
Provide exceptional service to patients regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
Continuously identify process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and claims processing.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and billing software.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Analytical thinking to identify billing errors and optimize revenue cycle processes.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare claims processing.
Experience with insurance verification, patient account management, and reimbursement analysis preferred.
Prior remote work experience is a plus but not required.
Working Hours
Full-time remote positions with flexible schedules.
Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary based on client or provider requirements).
